The 2026 Blue Wave and Beyond

Please join the Cache County Democrats and the USU College Democrats on Tuesday February 24th from 5:30 to 7:00pm to hear from BYU Professor Dr. Jake Rugh as he shares compelling data regarding the 2026 blue wave.

Jacob S. Rugh (Dr. Jake) is Utah County Democrats House District 60 Chair and Professor of Sociology at Brigham Young University. He has worked with the Utah Democratic Party, the Committee on States, and the Utah Donor Collaborative to help Utah swing blue more than any other state and to secure funding for candidates, youth voter registration, and more. His most recently published academic research article documents how local immigration enforcement agreements with ICE increase Latino-White segregation and block the integration of immigrants into American society. Originally from Chicago's South Side, Dr. Rugh is a lifelong Democrat and past president of the BYU College Democrats. He is fired up for a historic blue wave in 2026! 

We hope you will join us in listening to his expertise as he shows us how voting trends are shifting in Utah, particularly in Cache County. It is an honor to have him come to Cache County. Let's show him we are fired up for the blue wave too!
